Here's how it works:

Browse through our online shop and pick a shape that catches your eye. Click on any design to learn more—dimensions, personalization options, pricing, and more. Adding images or increasing the size will affect the cost.

You don’t have to design it yourself—just tell us what you want it to say and the general look you’re going for. We’ll take it from there, working with you to create a detailed proof for you to review. Once you approve the final version, we’ll get carving!

Size Matters (Especially Outdoors!)

When choosing a sign for outdoor use, remember that nature is a big backdrop—what looks large indoors can appear much smaller outside. Use our size comparison guide to get a feel for how different dimensions stack up. For the best results, try cutting out a piece of cardboard in the size you're considering and place it where the sign will go. It’s a quick and easy way to visualize how well your sign will stand out and be read from a distance—before you commit.

Free Proofs – Until It Feels Just Right

We don’t put a limit on design proofs—because if you’re anything like us, you might not know exactly what you want until you see it. That’s part of the process! What sets us apart is how much we value working with you. You'll collaborate directly with a skilled sign designer who listens, tweaks, and fine-tunes until it’s just right. 

Your Credit Card is "authorized" at the time of the order

Upon ordering a sign from our online store - you will be charged the full amount plus any shipping fees at the time of the sale.  Within 24-48 hours our team will confirm your order and design details and send you a proof.  After you approve a proof for carving, we will get it into the shop for immediate carving.  

**If an order is canceled after approval but before carving begins you may be offered a refund minus 25% or $35, whichever is less, is retained for graphic design.

Custom Images? Absolutely.

You’re not limited to a catalog of preset graphics—if you can describe it, we’ll do our best to bring it to life. Want a bear roasting a marshmallow with a cigar in its mouth? We’re game! Every design includes free proofs, so you’ll get to see and tweak the artwork before we carve a thing. Our artists work with you over email to fine-tune the image until it’s just right. The only limitation? It has to be something we can actually capture in a cut —so super-fine details (like fishing line on a small plaque) might need a creative workaround.

Any Font, Any Feel

You’re free to choose any font you like—but don’t worry if you’re not sure what fits. Our sign designers have an eye for balance and style, and we’ll guide you toward options that match the tone and personality of your message. Whether you already have a favorite font in mind or just a feeling you want to capture, we’ll send you proof variations to explore until one just clicks. You don’t have to design it—we’re here to help you get exactly what you’re envisioning (even if you don’t know what that is yet).

Quality Takes Time  

We carve each sign in the order it’s received, and larger or more complex orders naturally take a bit longer. Because every piece is handcrafted, there's no exact delivery timeline we can promise. On average, we ship 10 to 16 days after you approve your proof—sometimes sooner, sometimes later. Around the holidays or big events like Christmas, Mother’s Day, or Opening Season? All bets are off—those are our busiest times!

We know waiting can be tough, but we believe it’s worth it. True craftsmanship doesn’t rush, we’ve seen plenty of copycats—but if you’re looking for the real thing, we’re glad you found us.
